Agawam Bowl's next edition of the

King of the Hill Tournament

will be held on

Sunday, March 17th at 2:00 pm.


It is 80% handicap, 3 strings to qualify for the 5 person ladder series of one game matches (5th vs. 4th, winner vs. 3rd, etc.) to earn the right to challenge the reigning King (or Queen) of the Hill in a 2 string final match.


$25 entry fee and proof of average required to enter, it is open to men and women league bowlers from any Candlepin center. Number and value of cash prizes determined by the number of entries. Agawam Bowl reserves the right to modify the format or rules as it deems neccessary.

The 2018 Richie Mayer Memorial 5 Person Team Double Elimination Tournament is in the books. Congratulations to WILK'S LOGGING, who went undefeated in a field of 16 teams on their way to the title. Close games were plentiful, including the final four matches to determine the five prize winning teams.


In Round 5, SO WHAT! defeated SLACKERS 580 to 566, and 4 MEN AND A LADY beat TUBZ AND FRIENDS, 577 TO 568, with the losers in these games taking home $250 each. In the Semi-Final Round 6, SO WHAT! edged 4 MEN AND A LADY, 561 to 556, with a Third Place prize of $500.


The Final Match was again a nail-biter, with WILK'S prevailing 603 to 594 over SO WHAT! to walk away with the $1,250 first place prize, with the runners up receiving $800. WILK'S LOGGING roster included Tyler Martelle, Alan Codding, Joe Duda, Jason Gauthier Sr, and Richie Bober, while SO WHAT! featured Dave LaRosa, Kevin LaRosa, Jason Patruno, Tim Cook and Bob Lamagdeleine.
